Discover® Card's Fasttrack To Cashback New Year's Eve Event

1. How to Play: Look for a Discover® Card's
Fasttrack To Cashback wallet throughout
New York City beginning December 20, 2003. Approximately
50 wallets will be distributed throughout the
borough of Manhattan only. Locations for the
wallet drop will be determined by Sponsor. If
you find a Fasttrack to Cashback wallet,
it will contain a card that contains an 800 #
as well as instructions.
2. Claims:
To claim the Grand Prize, you must be one of
the first 5 people to find a Fasttrack to Cashback
wallet and call the 800# provided inside, anytime
after 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 20. Only the
first 5 people will be the potential winners of
the Grand Prize. Anyone who finds a wallet and
calls the 800# after the initial 5 Grand Prizes
have been claimed will be eligible to win a First
Prize. Alternate Grand Prize winners may also
be chosen. All claims must be made within 2 days
of the initial wallet drop and will be subject
to verification. In the event that 5 winners
are not confirmed from the initial wallet drop,
an additional drop may be executed, on December
22, 2003. In the event that no wallets are claimed,
no prizes will be awarded. Sponsor is not responsible
for printing, distribution or production errors.
3. Prizes: (5) Grand Prizes:
A chance to grab up to $100,000 in the Discover
Card's Fasttrack to Cashback money machine.
The minimum amount a winner will receive is $1,000.
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): Min $1,000/ea.,
Max $100,000/ea. (45) First Prizes: A $50 Discover
Card Gift Certificate. ARV: $50/ea. The Fasttrack
to Cashback money machine event will take
place in New York City on December 31, 2003.
It is the Grand Prize winner's responsibility
to be present at the event in New York City, as
travel is not included in the prize. Grand Prize
winners will have the opportunity to grab as much
cash as possible, up to $100,000, within a predetermined
time frame. Potential Grand Prize winners must
be available to participate on the time and date
specified by Sponsor, or prize will be forfeited,
and an alternate winner will participate.
4. Prize restrictions: Discover Card's
Fasttrack to Cashback money machine will
not use actual money. Grand prize winners are
prohibited from using any artificial means to
capture the money while in the machine. This would
include, but is not limited to: nets, hooded clothing,
Velcro materials of any kind, aprons or anything
with large pockets, or hats. Sponsor reserves
the right to provide winners with appropriate
clothing for the money machine. One prize per
person, and prize must be awarded to person who
claims prize. Prize is not transferable. In the
event that the Fasttrack to Cashback event
is cancelled for any reason whatsoever, or in
case of mechanical failure, Sponsor shall have
no further obligation to the winners, other than
to award the minimum amount for the prize. Prize
will be awarded as a check in the amount of money
that is grabbed by the winner during their time
in the money machine. Grand Prize winners will
be asked to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability
Release prior to awarding of prize. Taxes, and
other expenses not specified herein, are the responsibility
of the winners. By entering, participants agree
to abide by these Official Rules, and releases
Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees,
directors, officers, agents, and agencies from
any and all liability in connection with participation
in this promotion, including but not limited to
injuries sustained while in the money machine,
or acceptance or use of any prize.
5.
Eligibility: Must be legal resident of the
US, 18 or older to participate. Employees of
Discover Card, its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors,
officers, agents, and agencies and members of
their immediate families, are not eligible to
participate in this promotion. Void in Florida
and wherever taxed, prohibited or restricted.
Subject to all federal, state and local laws
and regulations. US law governs this promotion.
