Newly Drafted Rookies First To Sign New Team Cards

Cleveland, Ohio April 4, 2007 – Discover® Card today announced the launch of its new WNBA Team Affinity Cards which will be on display tomorrow during the WNBA's draft day festivities held at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland.

WNBA fans who apply for the team-affiliated Card, as well as existing Discover Cardmembers, will have access to the unique “Discover Card Fan Lounge” at select WNBA arenas. Fans can show their Discover Card to gain access to the Lounge and have the chance to meet WNBA players while enjoying a VIP experience.

The new Affinity Cards featuring the 13 WNBA teams are part of the multi-year agreement signed last year between Discover Card and the WNBA making Discover Card the official credit card of the WNBA.
