PULSE Continues to Provide ATM, PIN Debit and Gateway Services to $2 Billion, Five-State Bank

HOUSTON, Feb 05, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Guaranty Bank, a $2 billion financial institution based in Brown Deer, Wis., has extended its participation in the PULSE ATM/debit network through an exclusive, long-term participation agreement with PULSE. Under terms of the new agreement, Guaranty Bank will utilize PULSE exclusively for PIN debit transactions at the point of sale. The bank also uses PULSE for ATM transactions and gateway services.

Guaranty Bank operates more than 175 branches in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Georgia, and has more than 300 ATMs. The bank, a PULSE participant since 1996, said its decision to sign a long-term, exclusive agreement with the network was driven by PULSE's national reach and superior PIN debit value proposition, as well as by the operational efficiencies provided under such an arrangement.

"The continuation of Guaranty Bank's relationship with PULSE under this new exclusive agreement represents a vote of confidence, not only in PULSE's national acceptance but in the level of service we provide our financial institution customers on a daily basis," said Leah Henderson, PULSE executive vice president. "We are pleased to continue to support the bank's debit card program under this long-term agreement."
