the launch of a national sweepstakes, "It Pays to Discover Everyday
Giveaway." With every purchase made with a Discover card from now
through the end of 2010, Discover cardmembers are automatically entered
for a chance to win thousands of dollars in daily prizes leading up to a
grand prize of $1 million. Throughout the year, cardmembers
automatically will earn extra sweepstakes entries by using their
Discover card in targeted categories including Restaurants, Salons &
Spas, and Dry Cleaners.

Every day this year, 75 winners will be chosen to receive a Discover
Gift Card valued between $25 and $500. There will be one $500 winner,
four $100 winners, and 70 $25 winners, which equates to over 25,000
winners in total. On approximately Jan.10, 2011, one winner will be
chosen for the grand prize of $1 million in cash. Daily winners will be
notified via regular mail and will receive the gift card, sweepstakes
terms and conditions, and congratulatory note.
