Ducasse as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at The
World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards ceremony at Guildhall.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has made
significant contributions to the international fine dining industry.
Ducasse, from the southwest of France, has been honored this year for
his reputation for innovation in French cuisine and his indisputable
influence over today’s generation of chefs and restaurateurs around the
globe.

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, unveiled during the awards
ceremony after spending two years at second place.

can cast seven votes. Of those seven, at least three votes must

magazine and the awards were presented in the company of the world’s

London’s Guildhall on April 29, 2013.
