Discover Pledges up to $500,000 in Donations to American Red Cross
RIVERWOODS, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Discover Financial Services (NYSE:DFS) announced today that it is
pledging up to $500,000 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Matthew
relief efforts through a cardmember donation matching program. For every
cardmember who donates to the American Red Cross using their Cashback
Bonus®, or by making a donation with their Discover card, Discover
will match those donations dollar-for-dollar up to $500,000. Discover is
also waiving the transaction fees on all credit card donations to the
American Red Cross for the immediate future.
Discover also will be matching employee donations to the American Red
Cross dollar-for-dollar through their Employee Giving Program.
